You should do this homework while reading Chapter 1 and 2.

Click on each problem to open or close it. You can resubmit as many times as you like, there is no penalty for incorrect solutions.

You should be able to solve the following two exercises after reading Chapter 1.5 and 1.6.

In programming exercises like the one below, the yellow areas are the ones you can edit.

You should be able to solve the following exercises after reading up to Chapter 2.1.4.

The next two questions correspond to Chapter 2.1.5 and 2.1.6.

You can complete the following exercises after reading sections 2.2 and 2.3. You only need to skim section 2.3.2: we won't be using formatted output or const for a while, though the volume2.cpp example is illustrative.

You only need to skim section 2.5 yet. Understanding the general idea of a string is important, but we'll come back to all its operations later on.
